Eastern Småland is a low populated, formerly industrial, region in the south east of Sweden. A few small cities lie scattered in a mixed landscape of forests and meadows adn the Baltic sea shines in the east.

The region is very active in developing new environmental techniques and solutions. Also the regions natural and cultural heritages makes it a eco-turist destination, but so far a good infrastructure - both in cykle routes and in information structure - is not developed.

The purpose of our greenmap is to make a map where the environmentally intrested can find information on environmental projects and where visitors and inhabitants can find information on natural and environmental friendly recreation and living.
