The Winnipeg and Region Green Map is an education, planning and advocacy tool for community groups, practitioners, government, and the private sector. It was initiated at the Department of City Planning, Faculty of Architecture, University of Manitoba and now a GIS based revised verion is being developed in collaboration with the GIS Mapping Centre at the Manitoba Eco-Network.
