グリーンマップ制作目的

The 'Find it, Eat it' Local Food Directory is being created by Forth Valley Food Links, in partnership with Action for Change, CVS Clackmannanshire, and Forward Scotland. Food is central to everyone’s life but the natural connection between the consumer and the producer has become lost in recent years. The Directory will help create and enhance links between local food producers and local consumers within the Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire areas. It will promote the local food sector and help to increase access to, and awareness of fresh and other prepared foods made from produce originating within Forth Valley.

The web-based directory Green Map will contain information on where to access local food, by searching a database of producers, retailers, caterers, processors, and community projects that produce, sell, process or serve local food. The search results will be available in Green Map form which can be printed off for reference. For those without Internet access, there will be a printed Green Map available through outlets such as libraries and community centres in Forth Valley.
