This is the Green Map of Westerpark, a district of Amsterdam with wonderful nature and a beautiful park. This map is based on Google Maps. The spots on the map have been put forward by the residents themselves. The months preceding publication, the residents were able to place their favourite spot on this card (they still the have the possibility to add spots, in order to keep the map attractive and evolving).
This map mainly shows the beauty of nature in Westerpark, but also art and places to dispose of several types of refuse. It is possible that in the future different aspect of Westerpark can be communicated in this way. Google Maps is a perfect system for this purpose.
