Taiwan's Story ‘03 describes how the introduction of Green Mapping in Taiwan by Wei-wen Lee, the Chairman of the Society of Wilderness (SOW) spurred the start of many different innovative Green Map projects. In 2003, SOW's Taiwanese Green Mapmaking team carried out 50 public workshops and events, and more than 400 people participated in the mapmaking process.
