About this Mapmaker

This is an advocacy and education Green Map. It shows the little known features of some of Johannesburg's open space and eco-systems.

Statement of Purpose

The Egoli Greenmap is an awareness tool to help highlight important but neglected open spaces and eco-systems in the city. It is also a first step so that these areas can be further enhanced for all the people of the city

It also seeks to help residents address environmental issues by using their Green Maps.
